Officers were called at around 3:20 a.m. on Tuesday morning to investigate a disorderly person who broke out a rifle after being attacked by a bat-wielding man in the 600 block of Fortune Court in Glen Burnie.

Investigators say that Baltimore resident Deaundre Terell Wallace and Glen Burnie resident Terrell Johnson got into an argument, at which point the former pulled out a baseball bat and began swinging it at Johnson.

In response, Johnson went into his house and fetched a rifle, walking toward Johnson with it in his hands, though police made note that he never pointed it at him during the dispute.

Johnson, 41, was prohibited from possessing firearms and had two open warrants out for his arrest, they added. The rifle was seized and both Johnson and Wallace, 32, were arrested and charged for their roles in the fight.

No information about their initial court appearance was released.
